We’re gearing up for the 2019 federal election - get involved!
The 2019 federal election is due before May and could happen sooner.
Want to help us ramp up efforts from the 2016 campaign (check out some of what we did here) and make sure we send a loud & clear message to Aussie politicians?
Planning has begun for Y Vote’s campaign to support young voices to be heard and we’re looking for energetic, self-motivated problem solvers to get involved as campaign interns!
We are currently accepting expressions of interest for our 2019 federal election campaign intern team.
The specifics of this are still being finalised but we expect roles to include:
Research, writing & policy
Communications (blogging, PR, social media & promotion)
Community engagement (partnerships, ambassadors, public events & having conversations with people)
Community management (developing systems, coordination, managing people)
Got other ideas? Let us know!
This is an exciting opportunity to develop practical skills and experience (with guidance and support) while also ensuring the people who have the power to make decisions about our future (on everything from the economy and education to climate change and housing) are people that represent young Aussies.
Internships may be unpaid or include a stipend depending on scope & time commitment - these details will be negotiated once a clear role is defined and before any individual commences.
If you’re keen to get involved, please fill out the form below. Please note, this is an expression of interest so that we can move quickly to get you involved once plans and resources are in place.
