The 2019 federal election is quickly approaching and we’re looking for energetic, self-motivated problem solvers to get involved by leading Pledge to Vote campaigns in your local community!

How you can get involved:

The Emerging Civic Leaders program is designed to unleash and build the capacity of emerging young leaders in our community.

Through this program, you’ll work with a select group of other young leaders to design and deliver a campaign that supports your peers to make their voices heard through voting and other important decision making processes.

Up to ten participants will be selected - apply now (below)!

Kick off date: Sat, March 30th, running for approx 8 weeks (to early May). Please indicate your weekly meeting time preference on your application form.

Eligibility: For people aged 16 - 24 that have a connection to the Ryde area (e.g. live, work, study) and are interested in making young voices heard in upcoming elections.

Course details: Meeting weekly, you’ll work together to design and deliver a Pledge to Vote campaign (with a focus on enrolment and voting at all levels of government) in your community. To support you with this, you’ll have access to exclusive online content with lessons, tips & special insights from:
