Emerging Civic Leaders program*
If you feel passionate about Australia and where the country is going, but super frustrated with & sceptical of the current structures we have to work within…
If you feel passionate about an issue but feel like it’s too complex and big for you to create any real change…
If you want to take action and make your voice heard on something but feel like you don’t have enough time (between study, work & life) or money to create real impact then…
Then you’re in the right place.
"Younger voters are the wild cards in the Australian electoral game. They are having a profound influence on the electoral landscape; an influence that has gone largely unrecognised." - Whitlam Institute
Some experts say that our democracy is in crisis - we need to harness our power and change this before it gets worse.
The good news is, it's quite easy to create high-impact change with some small actions.
More than 250,000 young Australians turn 18 each year
And plenty of them (along with the rest of us) don’t feel inspired, equipped or empowered on what processes exist to make their voice heard.
With a NSW state election scheduled for March 2019 and a federal election just around the corner, it’s vital we get as many young Australians as possible ready to vote and you’ll play a key role in helping make this happen.
We know that it’s possible to harness this massive power
We know activating young voters will have a high impact on our democracy
We know it can be done without being a massive time drain while also giving you useful skills & experience
The Emerging Civic Leaders program is for passionate, young & powerful young people that want to make an impact on Australia’s future in a short amount of time.
Apply now (form below) to fast-track your leadership journey!
During this course you’ll:
Be guided to run a simple & short Pledge to Vote campaign that will help ensure young voices are heard in the upcoming elections.
Walk away with tangible results that you can use to demonstrate your experience and that you know is having a real & long-lasting impact on our democracy.
Develop practical skills that you can use to execute your campaign and apply to supercharge your study and career results.
This online course brings together some of Australia’s leading young entrepreneurs, communicators & social change leaders to share their top tips with Emerging Civic Leaders.

Training with most of these guests is not available anywhere else and has been designed exclusively for this program.
